On 24 December 2025, Cambodian forces reinforced their defensive positions and resisted through continuous fire using artillery, mortars, and BM-21 multiple rocket launchers against Thai military positions in Khlong Phaeng village, Thap Sadet, Ta Phraya (Sa Kaeo). Thai forces established defensive positions, and employed fire support to maintain control of the area and hold their positions. Casualties unknown.
