On 24 December 2025, according to the local branch of the federal security service, a man opened fire on the FSB agents who attempted to arrest him near Yantyk, Tyumen. According to the agency, the man (a naturalized Ukrainian native) was trying to set up explosives onto an oil pipeline. The man was killed in return.
