On 24 December 2025, Fano (AFNF) claimed to have ambushed an ENDF convoy travelling from Amber town to Jama (location coded to Amber town, Aneded (East Gojam), killing over 45 ENDF soldiers (fatalities uncorroborated) and wounding over 20. Fano further claimed to have seized 37 AKM rifles and other weapons. Uncorroborated fatalities coded as 10.
