On 24 December 2025, Nigerian troops and CJTF clashed with suspected Boko Haram (JAS) fighters while repelling their attack on Dagwaba district, also spelled Doguba (Hong, Adamawa). The militia killed 2 soldiers during the confrontation. Several civilians were injured, and valuable property was damaged.
