On 23 December 2025, in Hpo Kone village (coded as Chauk) (Chauk township, Magway district, Magway region), the combined troops of the Chauk Revolution Army - Yay Nan Myay, the Magway Region Special Operation Battalion SR-7, the People's Defense Force - Magway District Battalion - 1, Battalion - 2, the People's Defense Force - Myaing (PaKaPha) and the People's Defense Force - Pauk (PaKaPha) attacked the Myanmar military outpost around 5 am. 4 military soldiers including an officer were killed and many were injured in two locations. 4 fatalities split across 2 locations (Hpo Kone and Kone Gyi villages), and coded as 2 for this event.
