On 23 December 2025, in Chauk township (Magway district, Magway region), the combined troops of the People's Defense Force - Chauk (PaKaPha), the People's Defense Force - Magway District (PaKaPha), the Chauk Guerrilla Force, the Alawaka Urban Guerrilla Force, the Myay Latt Yae Nant Thar Group, the Chauk Revolution Force, the Chauk Special Attack Force and the Chauk Thakhin Phoe Hla Gyi Force attacked the Myanmar military convoy with mines and small arms three times on the Union road around 6 am. 12 military soldiers including an officer were killed. 12 fatalities.
