On 23 December 2025, in Ngar Pan Chaung village (Wetlet township, Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes and dropped four 200-pound bombs on the village using a jet fighter at around 4:30 pm. 4 houses and 3 cars were destroyed. 7 civilians (an 80-year-old woman, a 75-year-old woman, a 25-year-old man, a 14-year-old child, a 7-year-old child, a 35-year-old woman and an 80-year-old woman) were killed and 6 others were injured. 7 fatalities.
