On 23 December 2025, Houthi forces shelled, using medium weapons, military positions of the IRG's Nation Shield forces and Abyan Axis (coded as IRG generic forces) in Aqabat al Halhal front (Lawdar, Abyan). The IRG forces responded to the sources of shelling, using medium machine guns. Casualties unknown.
