On 22 December 2025, in Yangon - South Okkalapa (Yangon-East district, Yangon region), a bomb explosion occurred at a squatter house on No.1 Kyet Mauk street in Ward 14 after two men, a motorcycle taxi driver and a trash collector, struck a 40mm grenade that they had found and collected from the trash. Both men, aged 17 and 30, were killed. 2 fatalities.
