On 22 December 2025, an Israeli drone struck a car using a missile between Aqtanit and Qnaitra town (Sayda, South). Three individuals were killed in the attack. The Israeli military claimed two individual were members of Hezbollah, while the third was both a member of Hezbollah and the Lebanese Army military intelligence.
