On 22 December 2025, Cambodian forces conducted continuous fire using artillery, mortars, small arms, armored vehicles, and BM-21 multiple rocket launchers, delivering more than 120 rounds against Thai positions in Khlong Phaeng village, Thap Sadet, Ta Phraya (Sa Kaeo). Thai forces responded with artillery fire targeting Cambodian military positions. One Thai military officer died.
