On 22 December 2025, in the morning, an off-duty Russian Lieutenant General - the head of the operational training directorate of the Russian General Staff, was blown up by a car bomb on a parking lot at the Yasenevaya street in Moscow - Southern. The general died. The RDX-based motion-triggered magnetic mine was set up under the general's personal car. The possibility of Ukrainian intelligence being involved in the incident is being considered by the local law enforcement.
