On 22 December 2025, Ukrainian forces fired 12 drones at 8 locations across the Volokonovskiy district, including Grushevka, Belgorod, and surrounding areas. Near Grushevka, 3 civilian men were killed and 1 was injured by a drone striking a car. Across 8 settlements: 4 drones were also intercepted, 2 infrastructural objects, 3 trucks, 1 piece of special machinery, and 1 car were damaged. According to the Head of the Republic of Dagestan, the men were delivering aid collected in the Republic to the locals, and one of the deceased was a deputy head of a district in Dagestan.
