On 22 December 2025, SSPDF forces clashed with Murle ethnic militias in the Bilnyang area of Mangalla South Payam (location coded to Mogiri, the Mangalla South Payam headquarters in Juba County, Central Equatoria State), resulting in 2 fatalities, 1 each. The clash occurred after the Murle individuals abducted 4 locals (coded separately). The abductees were rescued.
