On 22 December 2025, Ambazonian Separatists from the ARF faction, with rifles, ambushed and clashed with military forces at a vehicle checkpoint in Liongo (Fako, Sud-Ouest). 1 Separatist was killed and another captured. Military forces also recovered two assault rifles.
