On 21 December 2025, in Yangon - Mingalartaungnyunt (Yangon-East district, Yangon region), a combined force of the Civilian Military-Sagaing Region Defense Force, the People's Defense Force - Shwebo District (Battalion-15), and the Unknown Yangon UG attacked the headquarters of the People's Party (Myanmar) located on Pansodan Street using a mine at about 7 pm. The People's Party's election campaign signpost and some vehicles were damaged. The combined force claimed that the mine attack was carried out as a penalty against those who support the military's 'sham' election. There were no casualties.
