On 21 December 2025, in Letpadan township (Thayarwady district, Bago-West region), the People's Defense Force - Shwe Tan Myay attacked a column of more than ten Myanmar military soldiers that were advancing to a dam on the Yangon - Pyay road with two mines around 10 am. Some military soldiers were injured.
