On 21 December 2025, BLF militants established a temporary road blockade on the Quetta-Sibi main highway in Sirajabad area of Bolan valley (Kachhi, Balochistan), stopping and searching vehicles for over an hour. Security Forces (coded as military) deployed a quadcopter for surveillance, which BLF claimed to have shot down. Security forces are claimed to have attempted to advance but retreated after coming under fire. There were no casualties.
