On 21 December 2025, in Salvador - Cidade Baixa (Bahia), civil police officers exchanged fire with a BDM member in the Massaranduba neighbourhood. The officers conducted an operation to arrest the suspect, who was wanted for the killing of three workers in the Alto do Cabrito (coded separately). The suspect resisted to the approach and fired against the officers, leading to an armed clash. He was shot and killed. He had left prison months earlier for theft and drug trafficking charges. Two other suspects were arrested for participating in the attack. 1 fatality.
