On 21 December 2025, Somali Regional Forces (coded as Somali Regional State Police Forces) clashed with the local community (coded as Kebele militias) in Korati, Gumi Idalo (East Borena, formerly Guji, Oromia), and in Siminto kebele, Liben (coded separately), killing 5 people and wounding 8 others. 5 fatalities were split across the two locations and coded as 3 for this event. The violence is related to the territorial disputes between the two regional states.
