On 20 December 2025, in Kawlin township (Kawlin district, Sagaing region), an unknown local resistance group attacked a strategic outpost of the Myanmar military where about 50 military soldiers were present on Thit Hpu Taung hill for the second day. The Myanmar military at the bases of LIB-111 and LIB-120 in Wuntho towns fired howitzers during the armed clash. The local resistance groups captured the outpost. 2 members of the local resistance group were killed over 2 days. 2 fatalities split over 2 days (19-20 December) and coded as 1 for this event.
