On 20 December 2025, in Kyeintali town (Gwa township, Thandwe district, Rakhine state), an ordnance left by an unknown armed group exploded and killed a 14-year-old boy and injured a 14-year-old boy and a 13-year-old boy when they played with it on a mountain around 1:30 pm. 1 fatality.
