On 20 December 2025, Cambodian forces conducted UAV reconnaissance and employed FPV loitering and attack drones in Pha Mo I Daeng and Huai Ta Maria area in Sao Thong Chai, Kantharalak (Si Sa Ket), while also using artillery to strike several Thai military bases. Thai forces responded with mortars and artillery to destroy targets as situations developed and intermittently engaged opposing artillery firing positions. Casualties unknown.
