On 20 December 2025, military forces driving in an unmarked vehicle opened fire at Ambazonian Separatists from the ARF faction at an informal vehicle checkpoint in Kakar (Donga-Mantung, Northwest), causing the Separatists to withdraw into the bushes, firing repelling shots. There were no casualties.
