On 19 December 2025, in Than Ta Dar village (Nyaunglebin township, Bago district, Bago-East region), the 9 Stars UG - Bago Region shot and killed the village administrator who allegedly forced locals to participate in the military sham election. He was shot and killed around 5:30 pm near his farm. The 9 Stars UG - Bago Region troops seized two grenades and a mobile phone from him. 1 fatality.
