On 19 December 2025, in Carrefour, Ouest, in the morning, unidentified armed individuals kidnapped the leader of the Revolutionary Party for Organization and Progress (PROP) at his home. The victim was also a lawyer and a member of the so-called 'Kafou Leve Mache' organization. The abductors opened fire as they were kidnapping the victim and left the property in two vehicles they had stolen from the parking of the house. It is unknown whether the abduction was motivated by the political affiliation of the victim. His whereabouts are unknown.
