On 19 December 2025, in Santa Cruz de Aragua (Aragua), six members of the Mama Osa gang attacked a GNB and CPNB caravan that was conducting a security and escort operation for the Ministry of Agriculture and Lands. Specifically, they were escorting a poultry company while it was leaving the Turagua sector. The commission was made up of six officers. The attackers, who were moving in a van and carried R15 rifles, killed two GNB officers and two CPNB officers. Two officers resisted and survived the attack. The assailants then took their weapons and fled. 4 fatalities.
