UAV event in Syrian Arab Republic on Sun 18th January 2026

Update – Our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Women's Protection Units (YPJ), carried out two successful operations against Damascus militants in the vicinity of Syriatel Hill, located within the Tishrin Dam area. During the first operation, our forces targeted a gathering of armed groups preparing for an attack, destroying one of their tanks. In the second operation, a drone carried out a precision strike, resulting in a large explosion amidst their gathering. Both operations resulted in the death and injury of a number of these groups' members, in addition to the complete destruction of a tank. In a related development, our forces conducted another operation in the village of Haji Hussein, also in the Tishrin Dam area, destroying a military position and a stronghold of the armed groups.
