On 18 December 2025, in Thabeikkyin township (Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), the Myanmar military launched at least 30 airstrikes on the Chaung Tha Le jetty located on the west bank of the Irrawaddy River using five fighter jets. At least 7 civilians, who had fled across the river from neighboring Singu township, were killed, and 15 others sustained injuries. 7 fatalities.
