Around 18 December 2025 (as reported), in Comayaguela, Francisco Morazan, a man was killed and his body was found inside a sack on the main street of the La Esperanza neighborhood. The victim had been tortured, shot at least six times in the head and torso, and left with his hands bound and a telephone cable tied around his head. The body displayed symbols associated with the Barrio 18 Gang (B-18), suggesting a possible link to gang activity. Police launched an investigation, but no suspects have been identified. The motive is unknown. 1 fatality.
