Around 18 December 2025 (as reported), in Santa Lucia Los Ocotes, 12 suspected gang members were killed (methods unknown) and their bodies were found in a ravine, some of them wrapped in plastic bags and nylon and at least one with signs of strangulation. The police suspect that the attacks were caused by a dispute between MS-13 and B-18 for the control of drug-trafficking activities. It is unclear whether the victims were members of MS-13, or B-18. Two MS-13 gang members were arrested in connection to this case. Due to their advanced state of decomposition, not all victims could be identified. 12 fatalities.
