On 18 December 2025, in Macapa (Amapa), military police officers clashed with a drug trafficker during a police operation in the Renascer neighborhood. The man, identified as a member of the Bonde Pe na Porta gang, had an outstanding arrest warrant and an extensive criminal record, including robbery, drug trafficking, prison escapes, and latrociny. A .38 caliber revolver with a defaced serial number was seized at the scene. 1 fatality.
