On 18 December 2025, government security forces (Gorgor) clashed with Al Shabaab between betweeen Noor Dugle and Run-nirgod villages (Adan Yabaal, Middle Shabelle). More than 20 militants were killed. The forces received air support from the government security forces (SNA).
