On 18 December 2025, clashes between SAF and RSF continued in Atbara (Atbara, River Nile), with RSF drone strikes targeting civilian homes and Al Mogran electricity station, and SAF anti-aircraft fire being reported. 4-5 civilians were killed (including civil defence personnel), and 4 were injured. The River Nile and Red Sea states lost power.
