On 17 December 2025, in Kyein Chaung village (coded as Kyainseikgyi) (Kyainseikgyi township, Kawkareik district, Kayin state), the Myanmar military conducted an airstrike and dropped three 500-lb bombs in a cattle farm owned by the deputy lieutenant colonel of the Democratic Karen Benevolent Army around 4:30 pm. 2 members of the Democratic Karen Benevolent Army and 3 farm workers were injured. At least 20 cows were killed.
