On 17 December 2025, near Natmauk town (Natmauk township, Magway district, Magway region), the Climbing Perch Guerilla Force intercepted and attacked around 17 Myanmar military soldiers who returned from lying in wait on the Natmauk - Saing Kaung road around 5:30 pm. Then fighting broke out between the Myanmar military troops that arrived as reinforcement and the Climbing Perch Guerrilla Force for 1 and a half hours. Myanmar Pressphoto Agency reported that 5 military soldiers were injured, while Khit Thit Media reported that 5 military soldiers were killed. Fatalities coded as 0, using the lowest estimate.
