On 17 December 2025, in Myothit township (Magway district, Magway region), the MyoThit People's Defense Force attacked the Myanmar military troops who were transporting food provisions in six trucks from Magway town to Nay Pyi Taw city with mines near the milestone 22 of the Nay Pyi Taw - Magway road around 10:20 am. 2 military soldiers were killed and one was injured and one of the trucks was damaged. 2 fatalities.
