On 17 December 2025, in Gangaw town (Gangaw township, Gangaw district, Magway region), the Unity Rocket Organization (URO) attacked the Myanmar military troops from the IB-50 with three rockets which fell and exploded near the Yae Poke ward, near a lumber production office and near an immigration office around 6:15 am. Locals claimed that the PDF troops conducted an attack as a warning against the military 'sham' election. Casualties unknown.
