Around 17 December 2025 (as reported), in Vereda Ventanas (Antioquia), military forces clashed with four ELN members who were attempting to plant an IED in the area, injuring one and arresting another, while the other two managed to escape. Security forces recovered explosives and wiring. This may have been one of several actions suspected to have been carried out by the ELN across the country as part of a 72-hour armed strike (coded separately). There were no fatalities.
