On 17 December 2025, in the Alagoas state (coded to Maceio), police officers exchanged fire with unidentified armed suspects. The officers conducted an operation to locate and arrest suspects of drug trafficking and other crimes. Two suspects resisted to the officers' approach and were shot and killed during an armed clash. The operation took place simultaneously in Maceio, Marechal Deodoro and Satuba municipalities. Five suspects were also arrested. 2 fatalities.
