On 16 December 2025, in Cerro Grande, Francisco Morazan, unidentified individuals abducted and then shot and killed a moto taxi driver near the El Guanabano #2 area on the road to Olancho. The victim was intercepted after completing a fare and forced to drive to a nearby location, where he was killed. His body was found inside the moto taxi. Police and forensic personnel arrived at the scene, and the body was transferred to the morgue. The motive is unknown. 1 fatality.
