On 16 December 2025, in Santander De Quilichao municipality (Cauca), several unidentified armed assailants on motorcycles opened fire on a vehicle transporting a female Indigenous leader and municipal council member for the Peace Force Party, along with her UNP security detail, while passing through the Quebrada El Arbolito sector en route to Santander de Quilichao town. There is no information on the identity of the perpetrators. There were no casualties.
