On 16 December 2025, Thai military forces maintained control along the Thai-claimed boundary line in Nong Ya Kaeo village, Khok Sung, Khok Sung (Sa Kaeo), using supporting fires to prevent Cambodian reinforcement. Cambodian forces continued to resist with sustained fire from BM-21 rockets, artillery, and grenade launchers and attempted to reinforce their positions, while Thai forces destroyed a Cambodian communications signal tower. Casualties unknown.
