On 16 December 2025, Russian Forces clashed with Ukrainian Forces near Kostiantynivka, Donetsk. According to Russian sources, 200 Ukrainian soldiers, including from marines and national guard units (coded to Pazeno), were killed in the area of Pazeno, Riznykivka, Stepanivka, Slovyansk, Kostiantynivka and Kramatorsk [Russian MoD reported 200 fatalities.
