On 15 December 2025, unidentified gunmen targeted a Syrian armed forces-affiliated position along the Daret Azza - Dair Salman road in the vicinity of Daret Azza near Ghazawiyah in rural Aleppo, injuring one of two Syrian soldiers targeted. There were no fatalities.
