On 15 December 2025, Syrian army and pro-government militia-affiliated drones targeted a pickup truck and the vicinity of a National Guard position along the Tal Al Hadid - Ma'amel road in rural As Sweida, triggering clashes between both with machine guns, injuring four National Guard fighters. On the same day, rebel outlaw groups likely to be National Guard fighters shelled Syrian army positions in the Tal AL Hadid area with mortars. There were no fatalities.
