Around 15 December 2025 (as reported), in a rural area of El Espino (Boyaca), ELN members attacked the High Mountain Battalion with gunfire from the surrounding mountains. This was one of several actions carried out by the ELN across the country as part of a 72-hour armed strike (coded separately). There were no casualties.
