On 15 December 2025, near Barrancabermeja municipality (Santander), ELN members detonated a motorcycle bomb at the La Lizama toll station on the road between Barrancabermeja and Bucaramanga. A toll booth employee was injured in the explosion, which also caused damage to the toll's structure. This was one of several actions carried out by the ELN across the country as part of a 72-hour armed strike (coded separately). There were no fatalities.
