On 15 December 2025, a child was killed and another was wounded when a mortar shell detonated in Joint Chowk area of Jonaai locality in Baka Khel Wazir area (Bannu, KPK). The mortar shell was fired from an unknown direction by unknown assailants (coded as TTP). Authorities launched an investigation to determine the point of origin. 1 fatality and 1 injured.
