On 15 December 2025, two commandos from the Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) were injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast triggered by Naxal-Maoist cadres in the dense forests of the Pillur-Kandlaparti area under Farsegarh police station limits of Bijapur district (Chhattisgarh), during a joint anti-Naxal operation with STF and DRG.
